This article deals with the Catholic, Druze, Maronite, Orthodox, Shiite, and Sunni in Lebanon. The author examines the extent to which these communities share a common views regarding some of the main political issues facing the country; namely, views regarding the Palestinians, views regarding Syria, and views regarding Lebanon and its institutions as well as the establishment of secularism in the country, and confidence in the state.
