Charitini Petrodaskalaki
She concluded her undergraduate studies in the department of History and Archaeology of the University of Athens, with a major in History, and obtained her master’s degree (MA) in History: Near and Middle East in the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, which was awarded with a distinction. She speaks English, Greek, French and a little Arabic. She is a research expert and content editor in the Center of Mediterranean, Middle East and Islamic Studies (CEMMIS) since 2012, and she was a research expert in the Center for Religious Pluralism in the Middle East (CRPME), from 2016 to 2018. Moreover, she was an Intern in the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) from 2018 till 2020, where she assisted with the coordination and organization of School visits at the center’s premises, and produced statistical and other reports on school visits and visitors attendance. In addition, she has participated in training programs and international fora in Europe and the Middle East, investigating topics such as migration, integration, multiculturalism and others, and she has also cooperated with NGOs in Greece about the refugee and migration issues, helping in research and statistics.
