This article examines the stance and reaction of the Coptic Church following the revolution of January 25, 2011 in the backdrop of the Arab Spring. It attempts to trace back the policies in effect before and following the revolution in regard to the Coptic Church's relationship with the Egyptian current administration as well as within society, in addition to distinguishing both between matters of the Coptic Church and with problems related to the Copts and their status as Egyptian citizens.
